Position SummaryGordian is seeking an exceptional, vision-driven, and commercially minded
Senior Director of Product Management to lead one of our most strategic, high-growth product portfolios:
Procurement.
Reporting directly to the
Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will own the end-to-end product strategy, vision, execution, and lifecycle management across our industry-leading
Construction Procurement platforms (including Job Order Contracting / ezIQC® solutions and contractor workflow software).
In this high-impact executive role, you will lead a team of Product Managers & Product Owners, bridge the gap between capital planning and downstream construction procurement on the
Gordian Cloud Platform, and drive sustainable SaaS and data-driven revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Portfolio Strategy & Product Vision - Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and strategic roadmap for Gordian's Procurement product line.
- Identify key market trends, customer pain points, and regulatory changes in public procurement, higher education, healthcare, and state/local government.
- Drive portfolio convergence-enabling seamless data and workflow integration between early-stage facility planning/FCAs, RSMeans™ cost data, and downstream procurement workflows on the Gordian Cloud Platform.
- Balance modernizing legacy platforms with building innovative, scalable cloud capabilities and AI-enabled workflows.
2. Team Leadership & Talent Development - Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Owners across both product lines.
- Define clear KPIs and outcome-oriented frameworks for product teams, fostering a culture of ownership, customer empathy, speed, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Data Science, and Revenue Operations to build a world-class product operating model.
3. Product Execution & FBS (Fortive Business System) - Apply Fortive Business System (FBS) tools-including Voice of Customer (VOC), Breakthrough Planning, Kaizen events, and visual management-to accelerate product velocity and quality.
- Translate market opportunities into actionable, prioritized backlogs and quantitative business cases (ROI, market size, customer acquisition cost, retention metrics).
- Establish strict performance tracking across SaaS metrics, customer retention, feature adoption, and margin expansion.
4. Commercial & Cross-Functional Alignment - Partner closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure product roadmaps align with go-to-market strategies and overall business targets.
- Serve as an internal and external evangelist for Gordian's Procurement and Planning offerings, regularly engaging with major clients, cooperative purchasing partners (e.g., Sourcewell, GPOs), and key industry forums.
- Support M&A evaluation and integration strategy for inorganic growth opportunities within the facility management and ConTech/PropTech space.
Key Product Lines Under Management - Procurement Solutions: * Job Order Contracting (JOC) & ezIQC® software platforms, automated contractor estimating tools, bid management, and compliance verification engines.
- Core Platform Synergy: * Unifying data and workflows powered by RSMeans Data across both portfolios within the Gordian Cloud Platform.
Required Qualifications - Experience: 12+ years of progressive product management experience in B2B enterprise software (SaaS), with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/Sr. Director) managing other product managers.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep domain background in one or more of the following areas:
- Construction Tech / PropTech / Facilities Management
- Capital Planning / Asset Lifecycle Management
- Public Sector / Higher Education Procurement or GovTech software
- Executive Presence & Strategic Acumen: Proven track record of defining product strategy at the portfolio level and defending strategic investments before executive committees and corporate leadership.
- Execution & Methodologies: Expertise in modern Agile development practices, product-led growth (PLG) strategies, and Lean/Continuous Improvement principles.
- Commercial Mindset: Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&L impacts, pricing strategy, SaaS packaging, and product margin expansion.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field (MBA or Master's degree preferred).
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with Fortive Business System (FBS) or similar Lean/Six-Sigma product frameworks.
- Direct experience with Job Order Contracting (JOC), RSMeans cost data, or enterprise facility assessment tools.
- Experience migrating legacy/desktop solutions to scalable, multi-tenant cloud platforms.
Bonus or EquityThis position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay RangeThe salary range for this position (in local currency) is 133,600.00 - 248,500.00
