Full Job Description
The LXS Sr. Director is responsible for the conceptualization, development, and timely delivery of high-impact learning solutions to support business goals and initiatives. This resource will provide thought leadership in the application of learning experience design strategies, particularly in the areas of learning needs analysis, curriculum design, and courseware development for our clients. To be able to provide several clients with training solutions that best meets their needs. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES The LX Senior Director will: • Provide overall direction to the following workstreams to deliver innovative, and tech-based learning solutions: • Learning Experience Design - Design and implement learning programs that will boost new hires' speed to proficiency, address performance gaps in production, and promote a culture of safety. Design skills assessments that enable readiness for all new hires. • New Media and Courseware Development - Utilization of various graphics, video, and course authoring software to develop meaningful, relevant, and authentic learning experiences. Development of advanced instructional media which includes but not limited to: guided tool simulations, interactive lessons and assessments, motion graphics instructional videos, and game-based courses. • Knowledge Management - Documentation and maintenance of processes and content in the Knowledge Management Tool. • Evaluate learning interventions created using Kirkpatrick's levels of evaluation, most importantly, impact to performance; present results and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders • Implement state of the art learning experiences through virtual, face-to-face, self-paced, instructor-led, or blended modes of delivery that drives results • Hire, develop, evaluate, and retain key talent to ensure seamless execution of learning interventions • Drive a culture of continuous self improvement and always striving for excellence through mentorship, and by setting and meeting goals • Forecast resource needs and present recommendations to senior management • Oversee department's financial and administrative tasks, including employee onboarding to ensure accurate and on-time execution. • Collaborate with key functions within the organization to achieve training, operational, and financial goals: • Client stakeholders, including program and training managers • Implementations, Project Management, Client Services, Consultancy and Product-Specifics Training (PST) for new campaign/LOB launches • Operations Management, Quality and PST to address performance gaps in production • Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) for continuing education and skills enhancement • Other support functions and vendors for organization-wide special projects (e.g., new tool/technology, process updates) TECHNICAL SKILLS • Technology literate; can easily work with new software (e.g., course authoring software such as Articulate Storyline, media development tools, Google Workspace Suite,, and other TaskUs or client applications) • Understanding and application of learner-centered teaching strategies • Understanding and application of e-learning development/interaction levels • Working knowledge in creating static and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Edge Animate, and so on) • Working knowledge in developing instructional media with at least one e-learning authoring tool (Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline preferred) • Solid grasp of visual design principles • Experience in LMS administration OTHER SKILLS • Makes logical decisions through key facts, explores alternatives, and proposes quality solutions • Communicates information and ideas clearly, and concisely, verbally and in writing • Interacts with peers, management, and other departments in a professional manner • Fosters a positive and productive work environment, with the ability to lead, build teams, and motivate staff • Has strong organizational and interpersonal management skills • Manages time effectively and efficiently LOCATION: US - Remote. Salary range: 160,000 / Year. Pay Transparency Statement: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across our US locations. The "pay scale" provided is a good faith estimate of the range the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of hire. Actual salary will be determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and specific geographic location. Benefits & Additional Compensation: * Variable Pay: This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance.
