Full Job Description
Primary Function

Lead and direct the global Human Resources function for Viking Pump, a unit of IDEX Corporation, serving as a strategic business partner to business leaders and employees. Responsible for the development and execution of human resources programs, talent strategies, labor relations initiatives, organizational effectiveness efforts, compliance activities, and employee engagement programs that support business objectives. Partner with Corporate HR and business leadership to execute people strategies and build organizational capability.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior HR business partner to Viking Pump leadership, providing guidance on talent, organization effectiveness, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Partner with business and corporate HR leaders to develop and execute talent management strategies, succession planning processes, leadership development initiatives, and workforce plans.
  • Lead organizational design, change management, and culture initiatives that improve business performance and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, local, and international employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide strategic leadership for labor relations, including contract administration, grievance management, arbitration preparation, and collective bargaining support.
  • Lead or participate in collective bargaining negotiations and develop strategies that support business objectives while maintaining positive labor relations.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders regarding employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, and development opportunities.
  • Direct talent acquisition activities, workforce planning efforts, onboarding processes, and retention initiatives.
  • Lead compensation and workforce planning activities in partnership with corporate compensation teams to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration and wellness initiatives in partnership with corporate HR and benefits resources.
  • Lead employee communication, engagement, and recognition programs.
  • Develop HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Ensure effective HR processes, systems, records management, training compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and lead a team of HR professionals, fostering capability, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field required.
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
