Role Overview

Options Price Reporting Authority LLC (OPRA) is an SEC registered securities information processor. The position of Senior Director, OPRA Market Data, will serve as Managing Director of the OPRA Plan. The OPRA Managing Director carries out day-to-day administrative functions that support OPRA's operations and management of the OPRA System, as delegated by the OPRA Management Committee. CBOE acts as administrator of the OPRA Plan.

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Execute administrative and operational functions for the OPRA Plan.
  • Act as confidential agent for Member Participants of OPRA and serve as primary point of contact.
  • Chair OPRA/Management Committee meetings and facilitate discussion.
  • Facilitate OPRA System management with the information processor.

  • Oversee and manage team members for AP, AR and GL functions.


The ideal candidate has
  • Expert knowledge of market data principles and policies and a thorough knowledge of the equity and derivative trading industry.
  • Ability to communicate the intricacies of specific OPRA market data policies to exchanges, regulators, global distributors, banks and trading firms.
  • Ability to analyze complex and unique data usage scenarios in order to apply appropriate licensing and fees for data vendors and subscribers.
  • Demonstrates hands-on experience using artificial intelligence techniques and agents to create efficiencies and develop innovative analysis..
  • Working knowledge with financial applications such as Great Plains and Business Central.
  • 7+ years of experience working with regulatory agencies.
  • 10+ years of experience managing clients and external business relationships.
  • 10+ years of management and people leader experience.
  • 12+ years of financial market data and derivatives industry experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or related field required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Salesforce application is preferred.

Salary Ranges (applicable for US locations only)
At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market-informed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $219,725-$284,350, with actual compensation determined by job-related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.

This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long-term equity programs.
