Qualifications

• Proven ability to negotiate and structure complex retail leasing transactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction across various parties.
• Detail-oriented with strong skills in reviewing and analyzing lease agreements.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to build relationships in the retail space.
• Experienced in managing multitasking in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead big box and large-format retail leasing, overseeing complex deals from start to finish.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with retailers through direct outreach and networking events.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of available retail properties for optimal leasing opportunities.
• Negotiate and finalize various types of leases including ground leases and build-to-suits.
• Analyze financial returns for each deal to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate leasing activities with all stakeholders to enable smooth transaction execution.
• Collaborate with development teams to assess leasing feasibility and property conditions.
