We are seeking a talented
Senior Digital Modeler to join our innovative electric vehicle design team. As a key member of our creative workforce, you will help shape the future of automotive design using cutting-edge technology and your expertise in 3D modeling.
Key Responsibilities:- Create high-quality, precise 3D digital surface models using Autodesk Alias to accurately communicate conceptual design intent.
- Develop designs from initial concept stage to production-ready quality for tooling release.
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to overcome technical challenges and suggest innovative solutions.
- Work on a diverse range of projects, including advanced designs, show cars, and production vehicles.
- Maintain strong communication to ensure constructive collaboration between design, modeling, and engineering departments.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in industrial design, Automotive Design, or related field.
- 7-12 years of surfacing experience with Autodesk Alias Design in a top-tier, preferably production environment.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk Alias Design software.
- Experience with Class-A surfacing and production-level modeling preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, creative, team environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating your 3D modeling and surfacing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- A good working knowledge of Sub-D model development using Autodesk Alias or Blender
- Experience with traditional volume-based CAD software such as CATIA or 3DX.
- Familiarity with visualization software such as VRED or Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of electric vehicle design and engineering principles.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$142,100-$195,360 USD
Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
