QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent in relevant work experience is preferred
• 5+ years programming experience in a professional environment
• Must be a true team player; personable, professional, flexible, have a high level of integrity
• Attention to detail that will impact business value.
• Ability to manage time through multi-tasking and managing several projects at once. Must be flexible and work well under pressure and easily adapt to change.
• Entail strong communications, along with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• High levels of personal accountability; an ability to be responsible for your own actions
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; an ability to assimilate knowledge, and then take appropriate action

RESPONSIBILITIES - HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION include the following, but are not limited to:
• Enhance and support applications that support business activities.
• Design, develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards
• Monitor and optimize systems to ensure best performance
• Perform unit testing using approved tools
• Document code appropriately for maintainability
• Communicate with product owners and business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications.
• Assist with work estimating based on requirements and technical designs.
• Lead the design of complex technical solutions and provide guidance on implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with different teams and team members on projects.
• Act as a mentor to other developers with programming issues.
• Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance and application security.
• Lead 1-2 developer projects when requested
• Lead knowledge pool/SME meetings when requested
• Participate in and provide feedback for hiring interviews when requested
• Document and communicate all changes and learnings to the necessary team members and business stakeholders
• Participate in ticket coverage and on-call support after hours with team rotation.

IMPROVING THE SYSTEM

All Fait Associates are responsible for documenting and fixing problems within the system. In addition, this role is responsible for improvement project participation, planning, communicating and implementing solutions where possible.

PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT

Fait will provide resources and support, relevant to the position, for education and training as needed. It is the Associate's responsibility to seek approval, schedule and participate in education and/or training that will prepare him/her for present and future needs. A post training recap may be required.
