Full Job Description
Overview

Crocs is seeking a Sr. Designer, Packaging with a strong point of view on brand design, packaging, and visual systems-someone who elevates how the brand shows up at shelf, in-hand, and across the full product experience.

Reporting to the Associate Design Director, this role is a key member of the Global Creative team, responsible for shaping cohesive, scalable brand expression across packaging, product storytelling, and retail environments.

You'll design distinctive, joyfully expressive work that brings the Crocs brand to life-translating strategy into thoughtful, craft-led design systems that connect product, storytelling, and experience. From packaging architecture and graphic systems to retail and supporting touchpoints, you'll ensure every detail reflects the brand with clarity, consistency, and creativity.

The ideal candidate is a design-first thinker and maker-deeply skilled in craft, systems, and execution, with the ability to elevate everyday brand moments into something iconic.

What You'll Do

  • Design the brand in-hand: Lead design across packaging and product storytelling, creating thoughtful, scalable systems that elevate the Crocs experience at shelf and beyond.
  • Build design systems: Develop and evolve brand design frameworks across packaging, retail, and supporting touchpoints, ensuring consistency, flexibility, and global relevance.
  • Translate brand into object: Apply brand identity to physical and digital formats with precision, owning typography, layout, color, materials, and finishes.
  • Champion craft: Uphold the highest standards of design execution from concept through production, with strong attention to detail and final output.
  • Partner with product and merchandising: Collaborate closely to align packaging and storytelling with product strategy, assortment, and consumer needs.
  • Own packaging development: Lead projects from initial concept through production, working with vendors to ensure feasibility, quality, and brand integrity.
  • Balance system and expression: Create work that is both consistent and creatively expressive while maintaining brand clarity and evolving the visual language.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work across Creative, Marketing, Product, and Operations to bring cohesive brand experiences to life.
  • Drive efficiency through design: Leverage tools, templates, and emerging technologies including AI to scale design systems without sacrificing quality.
  • Present with clarity: Communicate design rationale and systems thinking effectively to stakeholders and leadership.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with a strong focus on brand design, packaging, and visual systems.
  • Proven experience designing for physical formats such as packaging, retail, and product storytelling.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and emerging AI tools.
  • Exceptional design craft across typography, layout, color, and material sensitivity.
  • Strong systems thinker who can build scalable, flexible design frameworks.
  • Experience working with production partners and packaging vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through production.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Curious and forward-thinking, with interest in new tools, technologies, and design innovation.
