Job DescriptionInova Server Engineering is looking for a dedicated Sr. Data Storage Administrator to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time working Monday - Friday day shift.
The Sr. Data Storage Administrator is responsible for expert installation/configuration, operation, and support of systems hardware and software related infrastructure. Focuses on advanced design, implementation, maintaining high availability, performance, and security of Storage systems that are provided either on-premise or from our Cloud Solutions business. Manages urgent and complex issues by setting customer expectations, devising and implementing action plans, being available as required and professionally communicating to all parties involved. Manages infrastructure storage systems, data resiliency, and supporting infrastructure. Acts as a technical expert that provides support to other IT areas and coaches/mentors other members of the team.

Sr. Data Storage Administrator Job Responsibilities: - Provides architectural and operational leadership of the complex storage environment.
- Ensures successful and cooperative completion of tasks and projects and to resolve problems promptly.
- Designs, implements, and manages upgrades and provides support for storage solutions including storage area network, block storage, network attached storage (CIPS and NFS), fiber channel over ethernet, and storage replication across multiple platforms.
- Monitors performance of storage subsystems and when required determine and implement performance tuning recommendations to ensure applications are operating optimally.
- Performs capacity management of the storage environment to support new capabilities as well as organic growth.
- Assists in the evaluation, testing and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations based on customer need.
Minimum Qualifications: - Education: High School or GED equivalent
- Experience: 7 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: - Preferred experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
