Full Job Description
Evans is hiring a Sr. Data Control Analyst to join one of their growing contracts supporting the Federal Aviation Administration. This role will support the deployment of an air traffic support system and assist the deployment project coordination team with data-quality and implementation-controls. The ideal candidate should be comfortable reconciling records to source documentation, tracing discrepancies, following controlled processes, and understanding when information requires clarification or escalation.

Location details: This role is mostly remote with occasional on-site requirements at the Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington D.C. and the FAA Headquarters in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
  • Maintain and validate data in Implementation databases and trackers.
  • Reconcile information against source documentation.
  • Identify missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or conflicting data.
  • Reconcile quotes, invoices, packing slips, equipment records, and actual materials received.
  • Support bills of material and site design package validation.
  • Maintain site readiness and deployment status information.
  • Support implementation checklists and SOPs and ensure completion information is captured.
  • Maintain implementation repositories and supporting documentation.
  • Support routine data calls and status collection from site and program stakeholders.
  • Perform quality-control reviews of implementation records and artifacts.
  • Escalate discrepancies requiring technical or management resolution.
  • Capture lessons learned from implementation activities and incorporate them into checklists, procedures, documentation, and future execution planning.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 11 years of relevant experience is required. Relevant degrees may be credited toward the experience requirement as follows: Bachelor's degree (5 years), Master's degree (3 years), and PhD (7 years).
  • Demonstrated strong data discipline, analytical judgment, ownership, and follow-through in previous operational roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned work, anticipate needs, and drive tasks through completion with limited supervision.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including the ability to reconcile, validate, analyze, and maintain complex data.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools used for program execution and documentation, including PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality, traceability, and document control.
  • Ability to reconcile records against source documents and identify missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or conflicting information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring work across multiple sites and workstreams.
  • Ability to follow defined procedures while recognizing issues that require clarification or escalation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication when obtaining or resolving missing information.

Compensation

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package for employees.
