Evans is hiring an Implementation Support Lead resource to join one of their growing contracts supporting the Federal Aviation Administration. This role will support the deployment of an air traffic support system building solutions end-to-end. The ideal candidate must have experience managing and coordinating complex implementation and deployment efforts involving infrastructure, engineering, technology, or comparable operational environments.
Location Details: This role is mostly remote with occasional on-site requirements at the Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington D.C. and the FAA Headquarters in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.- Assume ownership of defined deployment workstreams, site groups, or cross-functional coordination areas as appropriate.
- Support development and management of an integrated deployment strategy.
- Analyze impacts resulting from changes in field conditions, procurement, external stakeholder readiness, infrastructure, resources, and other dependencies.
- Develop mitigations and recommend risk reduction alternatives for maintaining deployment objectives.
- Coordinate implementation activities across a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.
- Support resource planning and sequencing.
- Support executive-level analysis and decision-making.
- Support the project coordination team as a Senior Project Coordinator.
Requirements
- A minimum of 16 years of relevant experience is required. Relevant degrees may be credited toward the experience requirement as follows: Bachelor's degree (5 years), Master's degree (3 years), and PhD (7 years).
- Experience with infrastructure deployment, systems installation, or similarly complex operational environments involving tightly coupled dependencies and execution constraints is required
- Understand a complex collection of interdependent activities and constraints.
- Develop and maintain integrated deployment plans that define how activities, dependencies, resources, and operational constraints fit together across the deployment.
- Analyze changes and determine downstream impacts to deployment sequencing, resource needs, dependencies, and operational execution.
- Work through ambiguous problems and develop solutions and mitigations.
- Coordinate resources and activities across multiple stakeholders and operational domains.
- Translate detailed operational information into actionable plans that support management decisions.
- Operate independently and proactively in a fast-moving implementation environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Demonstrated responsibility for implementation planning: integrating dependencies and resources, evaluating downstream impacts, developing mitigation options, and driving execution through changing conditions is preferred.
- P6 or MS Project experience preferred.
Compensation Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package for employees.
