Position :- Senior Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)


Location :- Dallas TX

About the Role:

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team! As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from understanding business needs and translating them into technical specifications to architecting, developing, and deploying data pipelines that deliver high-quality data to our data warehouse in BigQuery. You will also be a customer-facing champion, advocating for the use of BigQuery and performing thorough data analysis to generate insights that drive business value.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines using GCP tools and services like Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture that ensures data quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of system data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and optimize data pipeline performance.
  • Advocate for the use of BigQuery as the central data warehouse solution and champion its capabilities to internal customers.
  • Perform customer-facing data analysis, generating insights and reports that inform decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data analysts, data scientists, and developers) to ensure seamless data integration and analysis.

Qualifications:
