SR. COST ACCOUNTANTHYBRID | ONSITE AT JOSTENS' MINNEAPOLIS HEADQUARTERS 3 DAYS/WEEK
YOU WILL:- Manage cost accounting processes. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure inventory accuracy. Support physical inventory processes and reconcile inventory balances.
- Analyze cost variances. Prepare and evaluate material, labor, and overhead variances to identify performance drivers.
- Support plant performance reporting. Partner with plant leadership to provide clear and actionable financial insights.
- Contribute to planning and forecasting. Participate in annual planning processes and analyze actuals versus forecast.
- Improve financial reporting efficiency. Support month-end close activities and identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes.
- Collaborate with functional leaders. Work with operations and department leaders to improve understanding of financial results and support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Support ad-hoc financial initiatives. Lead or contribute to special projects and reporting requests for leadership.

YOU HAVE:- Education. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Preferred CPA or CMA certification.
- Cost Accounting Experience. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting or related finance roles.
- Accounting Knowledge. Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Manufacturing Finance Expertise. Experience with production costing, modeling, and plant operations.
- Technical Proficiency. Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and financial modeling tools.
- Analytical Strength. Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Project Execution Skills. Ability to plan, organize, and complete projects while meeting deadlines.
- Communication Skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across all levels of the organization.
- Time Management. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
