YOUR IMPACT
A Senior Consultant at OpenText is more than just a consulting role. It's an opportunity to help customers transform the way they exchange critical business information, enabling seamless connectivity across their partner ecosystems. As a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will design and deliver innovative Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions that drive operational efficiency, accelerate digital transformation, and create measurable business value for our customers. Working directly with clients, you'll combine deep technical expertise, business analysis, and project leadership to deliver successful implementations while guiding mapping teams, promoting best practices, and ensuring consistently high-quality outcomes across multiple engagements.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Lead the design and implementation of EDI/B2B integration solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications and implementation strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consulting expertise and recommendations based on EDI and electronic commerce best practices.
• Lead mapping and integration teams by establishing technical direction, setting priorities, and promoting consistent methodologies and quality standards.
• Manage multiple complex projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence.
• Review and approve technical deliverables, ensuring solution quality, consistency, and adherence to project requirements before client review.
• Drive testing strategy and execution, including test planning, validation, defect resolution, regression testing, and release readiness activities.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting, conducting root-cause analysis for integration and translation issues while maintaining SLA commitments.
• Act as a subject matter expert for OpenText integration solutions, managing trading partner relationships and mentoring junior consultants.
• Identify gaps in business requirements and recommend process, solution, and operational improvements that enhance customer outcomes.
• Partner with Sales and Professional Services teams on solution reviews, proposals, and client engagements to support successful business development initiatives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• Bachelor of Science in Information Systems/Computer Science preferred
• 4-5 years of direct hands-on EDI implementation and mapping experience.
• Excellent knowledge of translation products and mapping applications: various versions of Contivo as an example
• Experience with B2B translation flows, mapping analysis and map development. - Experience with X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS and XML standards
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to solve complex client problems - Proven ability to provide technical leadership
• Strong verbal and written communications skills preferred - Good scripting/programming abilities
• Proficient using OpenText analysis and knowledge of OpenText products / services
• Industry Experience: Knowledge in one or more industries such as Transportation, Automotive, Petroleum, High-tech, Retail or Healthcare

Salary Range: $94,100 - $141,100; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.

California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
