Job Description:

The Senior Construction Project Scheduler will be based in Fremont, California, and report to the Senior Project Operations Manager. This role will manage and maintain the global construction project schedule, support resource forecasting, monitor project commitments, and provide schedule-related insights to project and construction leadership.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Construction Management, Project Management, Project Services, and other stakeholders to improve schedule visibility, data quality, resource planning, and project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the global construction project schedule, ensuring information is accurate, current, and aligned with project requirements.
  • Partner with Construction Management and Project Management through recurring meetings to forecast project needs and coordinate global resource planning.
  • Track projects throughout their life cycle to help ensure contractual obligations, milestones, and commitments are met.
  • Review and analyze construction schedules to identify risks, recommend workarounds, and develop schedule improvement opportunities.
  • Advise Project Managers when change orders may be required to accommodate schedule extensions, delays, or customer requests.
  • Propose, develop, implement, and manage an enterprise-wide scheduling solution.
  • Support data collection, validation, reconciliation, and system data-cleanup activities.
  • Use system and exported data to create, maintain, and improve recurring reports and dashboards.
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly project progress updates for Project Services leadership.
  • Promote consistent scheduling practices, data standards, and reporting processes across global project teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, business, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Five to seven years of experience in construction scheduling, project management, project controls, or operational support.
  • Strong understanding of construction project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Familiarity with contracts, subcontracts, commercial terms, and conditions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed and capable of working independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
  • Ability to build productive relationships across functions, regions, and levels of the organization.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with NetSuite.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards using Power BI.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other Atlassian products.
  • Experience implementing or managing an enterprise scheduling system or standardized scheduling process.
  • Previous experience in the solar, renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or construction industry.
  • Experience supporting global or geographically distributed project teams.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. (Applicable to California)
