Full Job Description
Primoris Power Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Compliance Analyst to lead compliance operations across project sites. This role is responsible for overseeing certified payroll validation, ensuring adherence to apprenticeships and prevailing wage requirements under the Inflation Reduction Act. Additionally, this role supports certified payroll validation and assists with identifying and resolving non-conformities to ensure full alignment with IRA and DOL requirements. Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, hands-on experience with compliance software, and a solid understanding of government regulations within the construction industry.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Produce project compliance reports and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for IRA compliance requirements, certified payroll validation, and apprenticeship utilization.
  • Conduct intermediate audits of certified payroll, apprentice utilization, wage classifications, and required documentation.
  • Recommend and provide compliance tools (templates, reporting, etc.) for the purpose of mitigating potential compliance issues before they occur.
  • Prepare compliance reports and support IRA and DOL regulatory reporting.
  • Validate payroll entries and review supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to and resolve non-conformities identified at the project site.
  • Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, documentation, and reporting systems.
  • Identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collect and review apprenticeship documentation and track apprentice progress.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, Payroll, and managers regarding apprenticeship requirements and compliance expectations.
  • Support improvement of compliance processes and tracking tools.
  • Manage subcontractor compliance with IRA prevailing wage and apprenticeship regulations.
  • Support audit preparation and respond to information requests as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong understanding of government regulations, IRA, certified payroll, and apprenticeship programs.
  • Experience working with compliance programs in the construction industry.
  • Experience with prevailing wage and validating certified payroll.
  • Proficiency using technology platforms to track and manage data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Familiarity with IRA, certified payroll, and apprenticeship programs.
  • Experience with Manage, LCP Tracker, and analytical tools such as Power BI.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Strategic, innovative, and detail-oriented with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to support new program development or process improvements.
