Full Job Description
About The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Sr. Business Operations Manager to serve as a trusted extension of the CEO of Enterprise and BOE's Chief Operating Officer. This is a highly visible role at the center of a large-scale, rapidly evolving business undergoing significant growth and transformation.

This position is designed for someone who thrives in complexity, naturally connects dots others miss, and can translate ideas, signals, and emerging opportunities into meaningful action. You will work alongside a leader who operates several steps ahead of the organization and needs a partner who can help maintain momentum, drive execution, support client relationships, and ensure critical priorities move forward effectively across an organization of more than 55,000 employees.

Part executive office leader, part operator, and part client engagement coordinator, this role offers a front-row seat to executive decision-making while providing the opportunity to influence culture, transformation, and business outcomes at scale.

What You'll Do

Executive Office Leadership & Coordination
  • Serve as a key partner in supporting the CEO's client engagement activities, helping manage relationships, coordinate interactions, and drive preparation and follow-through for client meetings, ensuring Emma is fully prepared and positioned to maximize the impact of every client interaction.
  • Manage a complex and dynamic executive calendar with strong judgment, business context, and proactive prioritization.
  • Prepare the CEO for meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, and critical business discussions through thoughtful briefing materials, insights, and clear recommendations.
  • Coordinate travel, logistics, expenses, and administrative activities with exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Act as a central connector across the executive team, ensuring alignment, communication, and momentum on key priorities.
Operational Excellence & Follow-Through
  • Establish and maintain the operating rhythm of the executive office, including leadership meetings, off-sites, reviews, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Capture decisions, track commitments, and ensure critical follow-up actions are completed. Create systems that prevent important work from falling through the cracks.
  • Navigate ambiguity with confidence, picking up on incomplete information and identifying what matters most while independently moving initiatives forward.
  • Support change management efforts by helping leaders translate strategy into execution and ensuring organizational adoption is thoughtfully considered along the way.
Executive Support & Business Coordination
  • Serve as a trusted extension of the CEO, helping maintain visibility across priorities, commitments, client engagements, and key business initiatives.
  • Synthesize information from meetings, stakeholder conversations, and ongoing activities to help ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Provide recommendations, observations, and practical solutions that support decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop a strong understanding of organizational priorities and help ensure leadership attention remains focused on the most important opportunities and commitments.
  • Help manage communications, actions, and follow-up activities across a broad range of stakeholders.
Strategic Projects & Transformation
  • Lead and support high-impact initiatives emerging from the CEO's agenda, ranging from operational improvements and organizational effectiveness to business transformation and culture-building efforts.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders across functions to drive progress, remove obstacles, and ensure accountability.
  • Build scalable processes, operating mechanisms, and communication frameworks that improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute meaningfully to the development of a collaborative, high-performance culture where people feel engaged, empowered, and connected to the organization's mission and transformation journey.
Innovation, AI & Market Intelligence
  • Bring an innovation-forward mindset to the role, leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve executive effectiveness, decision-making, and operational workflows.
  • Monitor industry trends, external developments, competitive dynamics, and thought leadership that can help the CEO stay ahead of the market and anticipate future opportunities.
  • Support executive visibility and brand positioning by identifying relevant insights, articles, ideas, and emerging topics that strengthen internal and external leadership presence.
  • Help shape how the organization embraces innovation and modern ways of working.

Who You Are

You are intellectually curious, highly adaptable, and exceptionally effective in fast-moving environments. You are equally comfortable operating alongside senior executives, supporting client relationships, managing competing priorities, and rolling up your sleeves to tackle operational details. Nothing is beneath you, and no challenge is too complex.

You have a rare ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly, recognize patterns, and connect dots across people, functions, and priorities. You possess strong intuition, but your instincts are grounded in thoughtful analysis and sound judgment.

Most importantly, you are humble, collaborative, and deeply trustworthy.

Key Attributes
  • Exceptional critical thinker with the ability to quickly connect dots, navigate complexity, and translate insights into action.
  • Strategic, proactive, and highly adaptable, with a natural instinct for anticipating needs and driving outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence, emotional intelligence, and situational awareness, with the judgment to know when to influence, challenge, listen, or step back.
  • Skilled at building relationships, influencing across large matrixed organizations, and driving alignment without direct authority.
  • Change-oriented operator who combines innovation, AI-forward thinking, and disciplined execution to advance transformation.
  • Highly organized with outstanding follow-through, discretion, and professional judgment.
  • Humble, resilient, low-ego leader with a strong ownership mentality and capacity to thrive in high-responsibility environments.
Ideal Background
  • Experience in an Executive Office, Chief of Staff Office, Business Operations, Executive Support, Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Program Management, or similar high-impact role.
  • Experience supporting senior executives within large, complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated success managing client-facing activities, executive communications, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success navigating ambiguity, driving initiatives, and influencing stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Experience operating in environments undergoing transformation, growth, or large-scale change.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Why This Role

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a highly respected executive and contribute meaningfully to the future of a transforming business at scale. You will have exposure to enterprise-wide decision-making, executive leadership, client engagement, significant ownership, and the ability to drive visible impact while helping shape the culture, operations, and strategic direction of a 55,000-person global organization.

Success in this role requires someone who is energized by collaboration, motivated by impact, excited by client engagement, and passionate about serving as a trusted extension of the executive office.
