The Sr Business Process Improvement Analyst (Opex) drives operational excellence by analyzing end to end business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and leading data driven improvement initiatives. This role applies Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality, reduce cost, and improve cycle time, while partnering with cross functional teams to implement sustainable process changes aligned with business and customer needs.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
  • Measures performance against process requirements.
  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
  • Communicates team progress.
  • Performs cost and benefit analyses.


Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a Bachelor degree
  • and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.


Nice to Have:

  • Project/Program Management experience (PMP certification is a plus)
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including meaningful experience with cost-benefit analysis and capital request justifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing programs (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is a plus)
  • Experience in regulated industries (medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals)
  • Programming experience with Power BI and visual management applications

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. a7 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
