WHAT YOU WILL DO:We are seeking a Sr. Automation Controls Systems Engineer to design, program, commission, debug, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing systems, with particular emphasis on robotic systems integration. This role supports customers directly and requires up to 30% travel to customer sites to support automated manufacturing systems in the field.
Responsibilities
- Design automation and controls systems for manufacturing equipment
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and robotic controllers
- Commission new automated systems at customer facilities
- Debug and troubleshoot control system and robotic integration issues
- Travel to customer sites (up to 30%) to support installed automated manufacturing systems
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) desired
- Proven experience designing, programming, commissioning, debugging, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing systems
- Emphasis on robotic systems integration experience
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to customer sites
