The Field Supply Chain Team in North America immediately needs a Sr. Associate whose responsibilities will include purchasing material for the centralization of Cabs, Entrances and Door materials across North America Field Offices.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will drive procurement and execution for cabs, entrances, doors, and related packages across NE and MOD projects. Partners with field offices to align design, budgeting, and sourcing with customer and project requirements. The successful candidate will own all aspects of purchasing to drive supplier excellence from design to complete installation. This is an opportunity for a high impact role with ability for growth as performance develops.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sourcing execution and purchasing compliance to Otis Global P5 Purchasing Policy
- Provide leveled out project sourcing recommendations for Field partners for Sales and Sourcing
- Give guidance on material finishes and technical designs
- Prepare and manage purchase orders
- Track orders through delivery and support issue resolution
- Validate supplier pricing and provide best value cost analysis
- Monitor supplier commercial performance and root cause issues reported from branches
- Lead local supplier performance and report status to Regional Field Supply Chain
- Participate in process and standardization improvements
- Create several channels of savings value through procurement and vendor partnership
Additional Responsibilities
- Resolve PO discrepancies and material issues
- Document and resolve material rejection and/or punch list items (damage, finish, spec deviations)
- Identify cost savings opportunities and provide business cases to Regional Field Supply Chain
- Support design clarification and specification alignment throughout the Sales & Procurement process
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Business related field preferred
- Experience in understanding procurement/supply chain/project management
- Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years relevant Supply Chain, Field Operations or Account/Project Management experience
- NE/MOD exposure with preference to Field Operations understanding
- Experience with elevator cab, entrance, and door packages
- Project-based procurement or construction materials understanding
- JDE, FRS or Elog knowledge
- Ability to interpret drawings/specifications
- Understanding of AI tools to optimize operations

Additional Comments
We seek a self-motivated, team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication abilities. He/she must be well-versed in related business processes, associated systems, problem-solving methods, and analytical tools. Our internal and external customers are essential; this position requires an excellent Customer Service attitude. A strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing are a strong plus.
Thesalary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
