Job Title: Sr. Applications Project Manager

Compensation: $ 115000 - $125000 / Year

As a Sr. IT Project Manager, you will lead large-scale enterprise technology initiatives that support digital innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term business objectives. In this role, you'll partner with technical and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions that improve processes, strengthen system capabilities, and enhance overall organizational performance. You'll play a key role in driving collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment between business priorities and technology execution, while successfully managing complex programs in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Sr. IT Project Manager, you will:
  • Manage multiple enterprise-level technology projects and programs from planning through implementation
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including timelines, scope, budgets, resource allocation, dependencies, and risk management
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
  • Oversee technical dependencies related to system integrations, APIs, middleware, and platform connectivity
  • Convert technical requirements and solution designs into actionable project strategies and delivery plans
  • Monitor project progress, proactively address risks and obstacles, and ensure key milestones are achieved
  • Provide regular updates, reporting, and strategic recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Promote project management best practices, governance standards, and continuous process improvement
  • Support and mentor team members while fostering accountability and strong project execution

Required Qualifications

As a Sr. IT Project Manager, you should have:
  • 6+ years of experience managing complex IT programs, enterprise projects, or technology initiatives
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional technology solutions
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, integrations, and modern technology environments
  • Experience coordinating dependencies across multiple teams, systems, and business functions
  • Ability to align technical initiatives with broader business goals and operational strategies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who have:
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scaled Agile project delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern software development practices
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist
  • Experience coaching or mentoring project managers and project teams
