Title: Sr. Analyst, Strategic Finance

Reports To: Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance

Location: Jersey City, NJ

The Role:

As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of Sunbit's credit card and Point of Sales (POS) portfolios. You will sit at the intersection of finance, product, and operations-translating complex financial data into clear insights that drive decision-making at the leadership level.

What you'll own:

  • Partner with business leaders to drive the month-end reporting and forecasting process, delivering accurate financial reports, variance analyses, and actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making
  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes for the credit card business line, including revenue share, interchange fees, CECL allowance, and interest income.
  • Unit Economics & LTV Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated models to track Life-Time Value (LTV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and unit economics for credit card users.
  • Credit Performance Analysis: Partner with relevant teams to monitor delinquency rates, net charge-offs (NCOs), and provisioning (CECL) to understand their impact on the bottom line.
  • Business Partnership: Partner with leaders across the customer organization and support expense planning for the credit card business and customer care business units.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Evaluate new initiatives, pricing changes, and expense decisions through scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • KPI Tracking: Design and automate dashboards to monitor key metrics.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or private equity.
  • Solid understanding of balance sheet lending and consumer credit dynamics.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Adept at crafting C-level narratives using Excel and PowerPoint, experience business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to support complex cross-functional projects and influence the organization.


How We Pay:

  • We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership.
  • We are targeting a salary of $115,000 - $140,000 per year for this role
  • This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
