Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our growing Digital Data & Analytics team as a Senior Analyst, Digital Data Engineering. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Data Engineering & Advanced Analytics, this role will play a key part in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the data products, reporting solutions, and analytical assets that support Rogers' digital channels and customer experience initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, analysts, and engineers to transform complex digital data into trusted, scalable datasets, dashboards, and insights that drive business decisions. This role combines technical data expertise with strong analytical thinking and stakeholder collaboration to support a wide range of digital analytics, reporting, and measurement needs.

What you'll do:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data products, datasets, and reporting solutions used across Digital, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Build and enhance analytical data models that support measurement of digital customer journeys across web, mobile app, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting assets, and self-serve solutions that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
  • Partner with business and product teams to translate requirements into scalable analytical solutions and actionable insights.
  • Support the development and ongoing evolution of enterprise digital data products, including customer, transaction, engagement, and experience datasets.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements, validate implementations, and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Investigate data anomalies and performance trends, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data governance, documentation, and quality control processes.
  • Perform exploratory analysis and deep dives to uncover customer behaviour patterns, business opportunities, and operational insights.
  • Support advanced analytics and modelling initiatives through data preparation, feature engineering, validation, and analysis.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across Digital, Marketing, IT, and Customer Experience teams to prioritize and deliver analytical solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of digital analytics practices, data engineering principles, and emerging technologies to continuously improve team capabilities.


What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, digital analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure, or similar technologies.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent visualization platforms.
  • Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality best practices.
  • Experience working with Python, Spark, or other data processing technologies is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguous business problems.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams.
  • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality analytical solutions.


Nice to Have
  • Experience with machine learning, predictive modelling, or AI-enabled analytics.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting digital customer experience, eCommerce, or telecommunications analytics.
  • Exposure to customer journey analytics, churn modelling, experimentation, or behavioural analytics.
  • Experience working in Agile or product-based delivery environments.
