Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Insights, you will turn market, shopper, and category data into clear recommendations that help grow our Retail business. Working closely with Sales, Category Management, Marketing, and Innovation, you will identify opportunities, shape selling stories, and support decisions that drive profitable growth.

How you will make contributions that matter...
  • Lead category insights: Support the Everyday Cheese and Specialty Cheese categories by translating market, shopper, and category trends into growth opportunities.
  • Support customer growth plans: Deliver insight-led recommendations for key retail customers across pricing, promotion, assortment, distribution, and shopper behavior.
  • Analyze performance: Track category, segment, brand, and SKU performance to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build selling stories: Create compelling, fact-based stories and opportunity assessments that help Sales teams influence customers and unlock growth.
  • Turn data into action: Combine syndicated data, internal sales data, and shopper or consumer insights to solve business questions and guide decisions.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with Category Management, Sales, Marketing, Innovation, Culinary, and other teams to support priorities and improve decision-making.
  • Own reporting tools: Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, trackers, and recurring reports that provide timely, decision-ready insights.
  • Manage data partnerships: Work with external data and analytics partners to maintain strong reporting quality, data integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Respond with agility: Handle ad-hoc analysis with speed, rigour, and strong business judgment in a fast-paced environment.

You are best suited for the role if you...
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, shopper or consumer insights, sales analytics, marketing analytics, or a related field, ideally in CPG. Dairy experience is an asset.
  • Experience working with syndicated and retail data sources such as Circana, Kantar, NielsenIQ, or similar tools.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI or other visualization tools is an asset.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify analysis and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and translate analytics into action.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, collaborate across functions, and manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are willing to travel occasionally as business needs require (10-15%).

Salary range: $73,815-$96,885

Salary offers vary commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.

Hybrid office (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
