Full Job Description
The Senior Analyst prepares transfer pricing reports and conducts business valuations for tax, financial reporting, and strategic purposes. The candidate is expected to be well-versed in economics and finance with a basic understanding of accounting and the ability to interact with the executive leadership of these companies including Chief Executive Officers and Chief Financial Officers via phone and email. Client Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities. Maintains effective communication with the stakeholders through written and verbal channels. Value Performs highly technical analyses in the valuing of business enterprises and their securities. The job requires a strong grasp of the following analyses: · Discounted Cash Flow Analysis · Comparable Merger and Acquisition Transaction Analysis · Comparable Public Company Multiple Analysis · Black-Scholes Option Pricing Valuation Analysis · First-Chicago Valuation Analysis · Monte Carlo Simulation Analysis · Cost-to-Recreate Analysis · Sum-of-the-Parts Analysis · Liquidity Analysis · Accretion/Dilution Analysis · Leveraged Buy-Out Analysis · Synthetic Put Analysis · Lattice Analysis Determines appropriate discounts for lack of marketability and lack of control for equity securities. Perform benchmarking, analysis of financial statements, and economic analysis of companies, markets, and industries. Draft and assist in the preparation of memos and reports. Research and review country-specific tax and transfer pricing regulations. Education and Experience: Master’s and/or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics because of the complexity of the work and at least four years of financial analyst related experience required. These duties are complex because they require in-depth knowledge of accounting analysis, financial analysis, and the application of highly technical financial frameworks named above. The candidate has to be very strong in quantitative disciplines like math, economics, accounting, or finance. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. In addition, experience with Access and PowerPI is a bonus. Knowledge of creating VB macros in MS Excel, MS Word or MS Access will be a plus. Experience with research databases such as CapitalIQ and other tools is preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: Standard indoor working environment. Occasional long periods of sitting while working at the computer. Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and interface with external vendors as necessary.
