Job Title: Sr. AI Driven Innovations Lead
Location: Morristown, NJ
We are seeking a Sr. AI Driven Innovations Lead within Clinical Data & AI Processing organization to lead and drive the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution of AI/ML and agentic AI solutions for clinical data processing, analysis, and regulatory submission, ensuring alignment with Sanofi's broader R&D and digital transformation agenda.
This role will define the multi-year strategic roadmap for AI-driven clinical data capabilities, balancing near-term operational priorities with long-term innovation investments across data ingestion, review, transformation, and submission workflows. It will drive cross-functional standards initiatives
(CDISC/CDASH/SDTM) to ensure organizational coherence and compliance. Working closely with cross-functional business and digital teams, this position will accelerate clinical development by leveraging AI/ML, analytics, and data science to enable near real-time, interactive access to clinical data and analyses, driving operational excellence across the organization.
Main Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership- Lead and drive development of AI/ML solutions for clinical data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with Digital partners to build and deploy integrated data flow technology products that enable seamless clinical operations
- Ensure the roadmap is scalable and flexible to meet global and therapeutic-area specific needs.
- Lead quarterly and annual planning, prioritizing initiatives based on impact, resource capacity, and scientific value.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from cross-functional teams to define the "What" and "Why" of product development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Serve as strategic liaison between clinical business teams (clinical data management, statistical programming, biostatistics) and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable product specifications that deliver measurable clinical value and business impact
- Engage with Business leads, Digital R&D leaders, and AI/ML experts to influence technology strategy, platform selection, and build vs. buy decisions. Partner with clinical system owners (e.g., Medidata, Veeva Vault) and external data providers to optimize data ingestion and lifecycle management.
Delivery Excellence - Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of technology products in alignment with sprint plans and release milestones.
- Champion agile product development and iterative delivery, balancing short-term execution with long-term product health.
- Drive measurement of impact through business KPIs, data usage metrics, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Resolve escalated product or delivery risks and coordinate mitigation strategies across internal and external teams.
About YouRequired Qualifications:- Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience designing and implementing analytics, data science, and AI solutions within clinical data management, statistical programming, or clinical development.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biostatistics, Information Systems, or related scientific field
- Language Requirements: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong understanding of clinical development processes; experience with clinical trial data processing and analysis

The salary range for this position is:
$178,500.00 - $257,833.33
