  • Implement test and validation processes for calibration consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate calibration with systems
  • Contribute to the calibration codebase, integrating with sensor fusion pipelines
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.

Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sr. ADAS Validation Engineer to join our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. This requires an experienced professional with a background in software quality assurance and system validation. Ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. Candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. The Role: • Develop and implement robust methodologies for quantifying ADAS feature performance • Utilize customer-driven insights to continuously enhance and optimize ADAS functionalities for an exceptional user experience • Organize and conduct customer clinics, gathering valuable feedback and insights regarding user experiences for collaborative improvement in ADAS features • Stay updated on ADAS/AD trends, and conduct comprehensive benchmarking against competitors for innovative offerings • Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish clear performance requirements and KPIs aligned with customer expectations and industry standards • Take ownership of the validation process to guarantee the reliability and safety of ADAS features • Provide the final sign-off before releasing ADAS technologies to customers • Create & amend test cases for software validation across ECUs, focusing on ADAS/AD at the vehicle system level • Work collaboratively to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and user experience • Drive a validation of high-quality, high-performance, and product-ready software • Own and Validate the System feature level end-to-end testing on the vehicle • Design, maintain, and execute tests including functional, system integration, regression, performance • Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and Safety • Mentor and guide junior team members Qualifications: • 4+ years of leading/owning the system validation of ADAS/AD features • 5+ years of Automotive testing experience • 5+ years with hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases supporting the validation of large-scale programs & products • 2+ years of automation experience in automating application testing and/or tool development • Experience with Bluetooth, MATLAB, Vector tools • In-depth knowledge of ADAS technologies and industry benchmarks Preferred: • Experience with languages like Python, C, C++ • Familiarity with automotive regulations and functional safety standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262) • Proficiency in working with Oxford RT3000 or similar data acquisition tools Education: • Bachelor or Masters in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. Base Pay Range (Annual) $158,400-$217,800 USD Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
