Position Summary:Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial statements by consistently applying accounting principles and procedures to prepare and analyze financial information. Oversees and performs advanced accounting activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and variance analysis while identifying opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology. Partners with cross-functional teams and department leaders to provide financial insights, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication of financial results.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform accounting functions and journal entries related to month-end close responsibilities.
- Lead process improvements, system enhancements, meetings, and training sessions.
- Prepare and manage reconciliations for assigned GL accounts, including researching any unexpected variances and resolving reconciling items.
- Generate monthly reports and provide variance commentary.
- Support internal and external audit requests by providing accurate financial data and variance explanations.
- Engage in cross-training with other members to promote career growth and ensure seamless team coverage.
- Oversee general & administrative expenses, reconcile general ledger accounts, analyze variances, complex cost allocations, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and Real Estate Investment Trust performance presentations for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets, evaluate confidential payroll data, including preparing analysis schedules, and support ad hoc requests.
Additional Skills:- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data extraction) and Google Suite, with a strong ability to navigate diverse ERP environments, specifically SAP.

Preferred Education:- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience), accounting or finance major preferred.
Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience: Compensation:Base Pay Range: $101,300.00 - $120,200.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
