Job Summary
The SQL Developer will support a highly data-centric environment by developing and maintaining SQL solutions, troubleshooting application and data issues, performing data validation, and supporting data-related changes across enterprise environments. The role requires a strong understanding of SQL, databases, data flows, and application data, along with the ability to collaborate with business owners to implement data changes and resolve issues. The developer will also support access review activities and work with data supporting a large user population.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries, scripts, and database solutions.
• Analyze application and database issues and identify appropriate technical solutions.
• Perform data validation and investigate data inconsistencies across environments.
• Develop a strong understanding of how data flows through applications and enterprise environments.
• Work with business owners to understand requirements and implement approved data changes.
• Troubleshoot application and data-related issues and support resolution of assigned tickets.
• Support access review activities and manage related tickets for an environment supporting approximately 8,000 users.
• Analyze application data and identify trends, discrepancies, and potential data quality issues.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve data-related problems.
• Support reporting and data analysis activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to data changes, troubleshooting, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL and databases.
• Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of data and data flows across application environments.
• Experience performing data validation and investigating data quality issues.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with application data and resolving data-related issues.
• Ability to work effectively with business owners and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple data-related tickets and priorities in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Tableau or other reporting and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with application data from phone or telecommunications systems.
• Experience with Avaya application data.
• Experience supporting large enterprise environments and user populations.
