SPLUNK ENGINEER / SPLUNK DEVELOPER
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Splunk professional to enhance enterprise observability, operational monitoring, and reporting capabilities, supporting dashboard development, data onboarding, log analysis, and reliability engineering, with a focus on network telemetry and operational data across enterprise environments.
MANDATORY SKILLS
10+ years of overall IT experience with 2-3+ years hands-on Splunk experience
Strong SPL expertise - stats, timechart, transaction, eval, rex, lookup
Experience building dashboards, drilldowns, reports, and visualizations
Knowledge of Linux/Unix for log analysis and troubleshooting
Experience with network telemetry - Syslog, SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX
Understanding of enterprise networking - routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Experience with network observability platforms - ThousandEyes, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics
Experience supporting NOC or Network Engineering teams
Knowledge of cloud networking within AWS, Azure, or GCP
