Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with swallowing and communication disorders using evidence-based techniques.
  • Set treatment goals and design individualized Speech Pathology programs based on clinical evaluations.
  • Deliver rehabilitative services following medical orders in a collaborative team environment.
  • Engage in clinical conferences to discuss and coordinate patient care plans.
  • Provide one-on-one treatment sessions focusing on a functional-based approach for each resident.

Full Job Description
  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
  • Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach

Position requirements:
  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.

Pay RangeUSD $45.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
