Job Summary and Mission

The Strategic Planning Specialist contributes to the Nestlé Coffee & Beverage division's success by facilitating planning and communication to raise the capabilities of our field sales teams to help deliver their customer selling materials. This position serves as a conduit amongst our internal teams to enable proper execution on delivering on our internal commitments while driving continuously effective communication and planning. This role also supports the consolidation of customer account reviews and leadership presentations, requiring an ability to flex between high level storylines and customer specific details to drive leadership decisions.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Drives seamless interaction between the HQ and the field through multiple communication avenues:

  • Coordinate and consult on content development for weekly sales newsletter, monthly sales network calls, Innovation Launches and annual sales conference.

  • Ensure all communication is clear, concise, consistent, and accurate while checking that all sales materials align with the overall Nestlé Coffee Partners strategy.

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment with communication processes to support field sales.

  • Ensure all field sales support materials are easily available and content is consistently improved to enable growth and flawless execution.

  • Create system-wide tools and leverage technology such as Microsoft SharePoint & Teams to minimize one-off requests through process-driven communication.


Conducts long-term planning for Annual Sales Summit:

  • Owns timeline for internal checkpoints including cross functional event kickoffs and content reviews with Leadership.

  • Liaise with Nestlé's event management team on logistics including venue, AV, activities.

  • Support Sr. Manager with budget management, working team check-ins/share-outs to Leadership, and status updates to cross functional teams.

  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants, especially Field Sales, to drive continuous improvement and ensure clarity on both business goals and planning expectations.


Enables Field Teams for successful item sell-in:

  • Facilitate delivery of product samples to customers as the point of contact for our 3rd party warehouse logistics and inventory management.


  • Address ad-hoc questions and requests from Sales team


Leads key cross-functional processes within the sales organization including:

  • Annual Sales Summit

  • Business Planning Calls (Innovation launches)

  • Monthly C&B Network Calls

  • Weekly C&B Field Newsletter (Bulletins) to the broader organization

  • Support change management within Commercial Development and Sales as new capabilities are developed and implemented (think AI Agents, new Ways of Working).

  • Identify opportunities within C&B and across Nestlé USA to lead change within Communications and Planning.


Qualifications

Summary of Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience leveraging multi-functional resources, building sales marketing plans within a global company, cross-functional project management.

  • Experience with developing internal and external partner communications.

  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint) and PowerBI (preferred) to consolidate multi-account plans, analysis and leadership presentations.

  • Preferred experience in CPG industry


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree required.

  • Quick adaptation to changing environments and leadership direction to ensure seamless processes and communications.


  • Proven track record of building diverse, collaborative relationships.

  • Experience successfully navigating stakeholder management, balancing multiple priorities concurrently and strong cross-functional collaboration at multiple levels.

  • Ability to think as your business partners and provide prospective that considers various viewpoints to influence workstreams.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills that enables the Customer teams to effectively sell.

  • Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.

  • Strong project management experience/skills a plus

  • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint; PowerBI preferred
