About the Role:
The Mastercard Services global product team is seeking a Specialist to support the Mastercard Business Intelligence product. Mastercard Business Intelligence is at the heart of a business intelligence ecosystem built on market data and payment insights, helping customers across the globe make smarter decisions and stay competitive.
This role is focused on product execution, coordination, and delivery support within a global team. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and UX partners to help deliver product features and enhancements. You will contribute to roadmap execution, assist in managing dependencies, track progress, and support issue resolution to ensure timely delivery.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and contributing to multiple workstreams.
What will you do?
• Build foundational understanding of the platform, integration patterns, and available organizational capabilities
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to support delivery of product features and enhancements
• Contribute to translating customer needs into product requirements and user stories
• Support delivery execution by tracking progress, identifying issues, and escalating when needed
• Understand regional considerations and support development of globally scalable solutions
• Assist in managing multiple priorities and adapting to shifting goals
• Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team across time zones
• Support prioritization discussions with cross-functional teams (engineering, account management, legal, etc.)
• Assist in validating delivered functionality against product requirements
• Contribute to improving the customer journey and overall product experience
• Support product launches and monitor performance metrics such as adoption and usage
• Help develop and refine product features, ensuring clarity of requirements for engineering teams
• Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and customers
• Use data, research, and competitive analysis to support product decisions and backlog prioritization
• Maintain product documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility across teams
• Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate with cross-functional partners for resolution
• Support post-launch reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement
• Align with go-to-market activities and timelines
• Track status and highlight risks within assigned product workstreams
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and actively seek opportunities to grow and expand skills

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to product delivery and execution in a team environment
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements with guidance
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, and business stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey ideas and updates
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working with data to inform decisions and track performance
• Experience with data platforms, analytics products, or SaaS solutions is preferred
• Basic understanding of APIs, platform architecture, and integration patterns
• Familiarity with AI/ML, data pipelines, or analytics capabilities is a plus
In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Ranges
Arlington, Virginia: $95,000 - $158,000 USD
