Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting and treasury operations

  • Collaborate with Japanese advisors from Mazda and Toyota
  • Lead credit facility application processes
  • Manage cash forecasts and monthly variance analysis
  • Oversee daily banking operations and monthly reporting
  • Liaise with Financial Planning and Analysis team for internal reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and footnotes
  • Participate in compiling annual financial statement disclosures
  • Support knowledge sharing opportunities across functions
  • Develop standardized work and manuals for operational tasks

Full Job Description

What You Do

Supportinternal and external financial reporting and treasury operations.

As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:

  • Foster positive team member relations through a culture of inclusivity, open and transparent two-way communications, innovative workplace practices and compliance with all applicable finance and accounting regulations

  • Work closelywithJapaneseadvisorsfrom Mazda and Toyota

  • Lead annual credit facility application process in alignment with Toyota Motor Corporationand Mazda Motor Corporationrequirements

  • Lead cash management forecast activityand monthly cash variance reporting and analysis

  • Leadmonthly close activities related to cash managementandsupportinsurance accrualsas necessary

  • Leaddaily banking transactional needs and monthly bank statement reporting requirements of TMNA Shared Services

  • LiaisewithFinancial Planning and Analysis teamto supportinternal financial reporting templates and documents to support management understanding of results and to drive informed decision making for various plant activities and projects

  • Support preparation ofmonthly, quarterly, and annual reports including financial statements and footnotes on GAAP analysis financials

  • Participate in compilation ofannualfinancial statement footnotes, support external financial statements and associated disclosures

  • Supportmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses toassistmanagement with understanding performance of various accounts, departments, and profit centers

  • Ability to work outside of typical business hours and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)

  • Supportestablishingthe foundation of accounting and finance department such as support setting policy,standard work,creating templates

  • Support cross functionally as opportunities for knowledge sharing arise in daily interactions

  • Create standardized work and manuals for the operation and job above

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the department

  • Be available to work outside of regular business hours to support company priorities; travel as needed (domestically and internationally)

  • Support other activities asrequiredand directed by management

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of corporate and personal finance principles and management practices
  • Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • DemonstratedproficiencyinMicrosoft Office Suite of Products

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting,Finance,orrelated field
  • Two years of prior manufacturing,cashmanagement,financial reporting,and/ortreasuryexperience
  • Experience withMajor Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) Systems, such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or PeopleSoft Financials
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

$84,581.12 - $108,270.98
  • We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your personal compensation in the market range.
  • Our compensation structure consists of an annual salary and a yearly discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
