72About the RoleThe Special Projects Manager is a key resource within the International Services for Students (ISS), responsible for the identification, design and implementation of a designated portfolio of high-priority projects in support of the overall goals and objectives of the ISS. The Manager provides leadership and support to the ISS to advance on university-wide projects, ensuring the achievement of quality standards, timelines, deliverables and risk mitigation. The role manages all phases of the project life cycle, from project planning, development to implementation, leading the delivery of regular project updates and communications.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration and four years of related experience in managing projects; developing communication strategies; business case development; risk management; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Excellent understanding of best practices in international mobility programming.
- Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, communication, organizational, strategic planning and project management skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization.
