Job DescriptionPosition Summary:This position is
open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least
3 days a week.
The Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering projects that achieve defined business objectives within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality parameters. The role is delivery-focused, operating within established governance and control frameworks. This role will report to the VP of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).
Responsibilities:- Lead project governance (such as creating roadmaps, detailed planning, monitoring and transparency for key milestones), develop and maintain comprehensive project materials (such as reporting, presentations, requirements maps, success criteria)
- Plan, execute, and close projects in line with PMO standards
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies, manage scope creep and change management
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and with other project teams to identify cross-dependencies and resolve roadblocks; results-oriented and ability to think strategically
- Ensure compliance with financial, governance, and SOX controls
- Support transition of deliverables into business-as-usual
Qualifications:- 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- PMI certification (PMP or equivalent) required.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner.
- Self-starter with ability to build a strong rapport with resources across multiple functional areas.
- Proficiency with JIRA and formal project management methodologies
Skills: - Experience delivering projects in a structured environment
- Strong organization, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience in insurance or regulated financial services
- Experience in project management tools, methodologies and best practices
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinking and analytical approach to solving problems
Compensation:- The base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000, on a full-time schedule.
- Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
