Position Overview:- Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained middle school setting, focusing on functional academics, early literacy, communication, socialization, self-help, and vocational skills.
- Develop and implement individualized instructional activities aligned with students' academic, functional, communication, and developmental needs.
- Support students in applying learned skills through structured activities and participation with general education peers.
- Collaborate with paraprofessional support staff and school personnel to promote student progress, independence, and successful classroom participation.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
- Valid Arizona Special Education teaching Certification in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities (K-12), as applicable
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Secondary-level and self-contained special education experience preferred
