Job DescriptionDescription SAIC currently has an opening for a
Capability Developer to serve as a Space Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Colorado Springs, CO location.
Job Responsibilities:
- The candidate will demonstrate a recent working understanding of modeling and simulation system architecture, be familiar with space electromagnetic operations, and the digital non-kinetic fires approval process.
- As a SME, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the customer in developing schedules and agendas for meetings; facilitating meetings; coordinating specific working groups and conduct analysis to refine requirements for areas such as: OSC/DSC; Concept of Operations (CONOPS); assessments of current / future systems; development of emerging materiel solutions; synchronization of Army and Joint-service operational assessments; rapid fielding initiatives and technology transitions. The candidate will coordinate program documents and other resources with DoW organizations.
Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of related experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Qualifications:
- Must have 9 years experience with Space operations, non-kinetic effects, processes and implementation strategies and development of briefings and reports with supporting graphics and other analyses.
- Candidate must also have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
