Title:Space Domain SME
.The qualified applicant will support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center's (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Chantilly, VA with anticipated travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of the SWAC's priorities. The applicant will work closely with the SWAC program offices, Department of the Air Force Headquarters, and the Joint Staff to model joint operational scenarios, missions, and interdependencies at multiple classification levels. The qualified candidate will support SWAC Force Design Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts to include: capturing joint operational scenarios, missions, and interdependencies in SysML/UAF; translating operational analytic models and outputs into dynamic SysML models; creating UAF representations of space relevant mission threads and mission engineering threads; understanding and integrating SysML/UAF models both from within SWAC program offices and from analytic partners across the services; supporting maintenance and standardization of models in a SWAC Digital Engineering Library. The qualified candidate will be comfortable understanding strategic goals and defining tasks/scope aligned to strategic goals. The qualified candidate will have significant space domain experience. The candidate will translate complex technical information into products that communicate effectively to non-subject matter experts and will prepare correspondence and other documentation (formal letters, position papers, reports).
Work Environment:- Location: On-site, Chantilly, Customer Site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% to NCR region

Qualifications:Required:- SAP eligibility is required
- Must have an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance and be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- STEM BA Degree is required with 15+ years relevant experience
- 10+ years space domain experience
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience with familiarity with MBSE frameworks such as SysML/UAF
- Experience with USSF and/or NRO missions
- Ability to understand complex technical issues and produce recommendations for a wide audience
- Ability to apply critical thinking in complex and dynamic organizational environments
- Ability to quickly create decision quality materials for senior leaders
- Demonstrates strong communication skills (technical writing, developing presentations, etc.)
Desired:- Existing or previous SAP access
- Current CI Polygraph
- STEM Master's Degree
- 8+ years MBSE and SysML/UAF experience using CAMEO
- Modeling, simulation, and analysis experience
- Knowledge of Space Security and Defense (SSDP) and/or Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) programs and products
- Knowledge of multi-domain missions and how space supports the joint fight
- Experience with space warfare and related enabling technologies
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40hrs
Basic Compensation:The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
