Position Summary:

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a high-performing strategic sourcing leader to drive procurement transformation across North America Operations Services categories.

This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across a broad portfolio that may include facilities management, MRO services, environmental services, sanitation, waste management, pest control, technical maintenance, building services, and integrated facilities management (IFM).

The successful candidate will not simply negotiate contracts. They will challenge existing operating models, influence senior stakeholders, redesign supplier networks, identify opportunities for consolidation and standardization, and deliver measurable financial and operational improvements across one of North America's largest manufacturing networks.

This role requires strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, commercial leadership, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where ambiguity, complexity, and change are constant.

The individual selected will play a critical role in shaping the future of operational services procurement across hundreds of sites throughout the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate may be assigned responsibility for a combination of categories based on experience, business priorities, and portfolio needs. Potential areas include:
  • HVAC, roofing, lighting, electrical, general repairs, fire and security, building maintenance, technical maintenance, MHE
  • Janitorial, sanitation, cleaning services, chemicals, pest control, waste, hazardous materials, environmental / ecological services, grounds, snow, lab services, IFM support.


What You'll Own
  • Lead end-to-end category strategy and execution for a portfolio of operations services spend across North America.
  • Develop and execute strategies that improve cost, service, quality, safety, supplier performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive supplier consolidation, service standardization, operating model optimization, outsourcing, insourcing, and transformation initiatives.
  • Lead complex sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and commercial strategy development.
  • Build and present fact-based recommendations to senior leadership teams.
  • Drive implementation of strategic initiatives and ensure realization of negotiated value.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Food Safety, EHS, Legal, and Supply Chain stakeholders to execute business priorities.
  • Leverage data analytics, market intelligence, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions to identify opportunities and support decision making.
  • Develop supplier performance management frameworks, governance processes, and KPI scorecards.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to support innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the procurement leader for major cross-functional projects requiring influence without authority.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Consulting, or another relevant business function.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and sourcing initiatives.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations or service networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business results.
  • Experience developing business cases and presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, facilities management, engineering services, or related environments preferred.
  • Experience with supplier consolidation, category strategy development, facilities services, MRO, environmental services, sanitation, waste management, pest control, or integrated services models preferred.
  • Experience utilizing analytics, automation, AI tools, and data-driven decision making strongly preferred.
