We're looking for a Sourcing Engineer to partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Sourcing, and global suppliers to improve supplier performance, product quality, delivery, cost, inventory optimization, and supply chain resilience.

What You'll Do- Lead supplier qualification and development activities.
- Solve complex manufacturing and supplier quality challenges using structured problem solving.
- Partner with Engineering to improve manufacturability and supplier capability.
- Analyze supplier performance and manufacturing data to drive continuous improvement.
- Support new product introductions, supplier transfers, and engineering changes.
- Leverage AI, automation, and digital tools to improve engineering effectiveness.
What You'll BringRequired- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- 2-5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, sourcing, or a related engineering discipline.
- Ability to read engineering drawings with working knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred- Experience with PPAP, PFMEA, process capability, or structured root cause methodologies.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or supplier development.
- Experience with machining, casting, MIM, stamping, heat treating, coatings, or similar manufacturing processes.
- ERP/PLM experience.
- Experience leveraging AI or digital technologies to improve engineering or manufacturing processes.
Travel- Primarily Portland-based
- Approximately 3-5 trips annually, including 1-2 international supplier visits
