Purchasing Manager

Sugarwish is looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead our purchasing, inventory, and supply chain operations across packaging, product, and beverage lines. This role owns the relationships and processes that keep product flowing reliably - balancing cost, quality, and customer experience across our vendor network, warehouses, and fulfillment operations. Prior experience with Sugarwish processes and vendors is required.
What you'll do:
- Manage inventory levels, replenishment, and inter-facility movement across packaging and product lines
- Lead day-to-day direction of the supply chain team, including a buyer and shipping coordinator
- Own supplier relationships and sourcing decisions, including triaging shortages proactively
- Oversee wine SKU selection and sourcing for Sugarwish and Vinebox, including compliance requirements (e.g., ShipCompliant)
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Finance/Compliance, and Vinebox teams
What you bring:
- 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management experience, ideally with team leadership
- Familiarity with Sugarwish's vendor base and purchasing processes required
- Experience with wine sourcing, production, or compliance (e.g., COLA labels, ShipCompliant) a plus
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Comfort working with inventory/purchasing systems and cross-functional teams
