Full Job Description
What You'll Do

  • Own the product roadmap for Paragon financial solutions, including revenue cycle, and manage priorities to hit time to market and time to value targets
  • Cross-functionally drive development and launch of financial features from concept through delivery
  • Serve as the financial subject matter expert on the regulatory team, monitoring CMS, ONC, and other federal and state requirements that affect billing, claims, payments, and financial reporting, and translating them into actionable product requirements
  • Define and write functional specifications, requirements, detailed use cases, and user stories for new features and regulatory changes, and explain designs and constraints to stakeholders
  • Collect, synthesize, and manage requirements from clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory sources across multiple product releases
  • Work with engineering, QA, professional services, and support during design and implementation to shape the feature set and usability of the product and ensure quality delivery on time and on budget
  • Review test plans with the software quality assurance team and validate that regulatory and performance requirements are met
  • Plan and manage execution of roadmaps, development schedules, and release scope for your solution areas
  • Partner with client-facing teams on escalations, defect prioritization, and communication of regulatory timelines and product changes to hospital business office and finance stakeholders


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, solution management, or a closely related role in healthcare IT, or equivalent experience in hospital revenue cycle or finance operations
  • Working knowledge of hospital revenue cycle processes (patient accounting, claims, remittance, contract management) and/or hospital accounting functions such as materials management, accounts payable, and general ledger
  • Familiarity with healthcare financial regulatory requirements, such as CMS billing and payment rules, price transparency, HIPAA X12 transactions, or comparable regulatory domains, and the ability to interpret regulations into product requirements
  • Proven ability to write clear requirements, use cases, and user stories, and to communicate technical and regulatory concepts to varied audiences
  • Experience working cross-functionally with development, QA, and client-facing teams throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple releases
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience


Nice to Have

  • Direct experience with Paragon or another acute care EHR/HIS platform
  • Experience in a hospital business office, supply chain, or finance department
  • Familiarity with tools like Aha!, Azure DevOps/TFS, and Confluence
  • Experience participating in regulatory certification or compliance programs (e.g., ONC certification, CMS payment rule updates)
