Role description:Arcadis is seeking a Solutions Lead (Woven) - Indigenous Account Leader to join the Intelligent Mobility Services Team. The IMS Group offers technology consulting services to public and private sector mobility clients. The successful candidate is expected to be at the forefront of executing a broad range of business development and growth opportunities, leading engagement with Indigenous communities to drive buy-in and support for scalable broadband and intelligent mobility services products. In collaboration with other Practice Leads in and the cross-GBA Indigenous Relations SME Team, they will leverage their existing network and key relationships, create and develop partnerships that drive initiatives to significantly develop major project opportunities that cascade to a full suite of Arcadis service offerings.
Role accountabilities:The Solutions Lead (Woven) - Indigenous Account Leader is focused on working closely with Indigenous communities and organizations to support inclusive, culturally informed, and community driven infrastructure outcomes. This role will report directly to the Canada Intelligent Mobility Services Lead and will work collaboratively with the Indigenous Relations Lead in support of the Canada Business Area Directors.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Accountability to IMS Pursuits and Key Accounts to meet and exceed the sales targets, as well as a personal growth target
- Lead by example with strong external brand and outward focus in sourcing work for all GBAs.
- Utilizing sophisticated networking capacity to leverage existing client relationships.
- Contribute to new market development and Indigenous Business innovation
- Alongside other Indigenous Relations and Services Leads, represent Arcadis at events
- Contribute to a culture of Indigenization throughout the company
Key Areas of Focus:
Strategic Advice & Concept Guidance
- Provide strategic advice to executive leadership and project teams, grounded in locally informed and community-focused outcomes.
- Guide early-stage concept development for infrastructure and community initiatives, supporting teams to translate ideas into clear, strategic propositions.
- Advise on aligning organisational capabilities and project initiatives with emerging government priorities, policy directions, and funding programs.
Government & External Partnerships
- Support and advise on the development and maintenance of strong working relationships with local, provincial, and federal government agencies.
- Provide strategic input into discussions related to infrastructure, community development, housing, health, and social outcomes.
- Offer guidance on policy parameters, program design, and investment approaches that enable effective community initiatives.
Funding & Investment Advisory
- Advise teams on funding strategies, including government programs, grants, philanthropic sources, and investment partnerships.
- Provide guidance on business case development, funding submissions, and partnership proposals to strengthen alignment with funding and investment objectives.
- Support advisory input into blended funding and co-investment models that enhance project viability and community impact.
Community & Indigenous Engagement
- Foster and maintain strong, respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, leaders, and organizations.
- Ensure strategic advice reflects the needs, aspirations, and lived experience of diverse communities, including Indigenous communities.
- Provide guidance on respectful, appropriate, and effective engagement with Indigenous communities and organizations throughout infrastructure planning and development.
- Support the integration of Indigenous perspectives, cultural awareness, and social responsibility into broader community and infrastructure strategies.
- Develop a strong client network consisting of Indigenous-organizations, communities and nations in Canada and the United States of America.
- Build network capacity with other leading consulting firms to enable a collaborative business environment dedicated to Call to Action 92 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Collaboration & Capability Building
- Work across internal teams to provide strategic guidance that supports integrated, place-based infrastructure solutions.
- Facilitate collaboration by advising on engagement with external partners, consultants, and community stakeholders.
- Mentor and support teams by aligning diverse perspectives into cohesive, well-governed infrastructure strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs that support Indigenous inclusion, education, and economic development.
- Contribute to culturally specific Human Resources programs for skills development for Indigenous Employees.
Governance, Risk & Impact
- Contribute to and represent a comprehensive Indigenous business development strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic outlook and innovates.
- Working to further develop cross-GBA opportunities to implement strategic service offerings that contribute to economic reconciliation and positively affect Arcadis' bottom line.
- Advise IMS Leadership on matters related to innovative new business opportunities
- Provide strategic input to leadership and project teams on initiatives, partnerships, risks, and opportunities.
- Guide the application of governance, accountability, and impact measurement frameworks across project development activities.
- Advise on balancing commercial considerations with community outcomes, ethical practice, and long-term public value.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 12 or more years' relevant experience
The salary range for this position is $114,590-212,810. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
