Solutions Architect Manager - Core Systems, Cloud & Emerging Technology

Summary:

The Solutions Architect Manager will lead a small team of developers, and project lead other functions (domestically and internationally), responsible for supporting and evolving mission-critical, SQL-based, as well as cloud-based applications that require API access that underpin core accounting, tax, and advisory workflows. This role balances legacy enterprise system stability with thoughtful modernization using Microsoft Azure and emerging AI-enabled development techniques. The ideal candidate understands the regulatory rigor, data sensitivity, and client impact inherent in a large public accounting firm and can lead technology initiatives with a strong risk-aware mindset.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise SQL-based applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
  • Experience leading small development teams in regulated environments.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
  • Exposure or strong interest in AI development techniques.
  • Azure certifications or progress toward certification.
