Summary

Are you ready to help shape the future of enterprise architecture? Bell Canada is seeking a Solutions Architect to help define and deliver end-to-end technical solutions for complex initiatives. You'll work in a dynamic environment balancing legacy platforms with a future-state (FMO) stack, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect Solutions (Core Accountability): Design and support end-to-end solution architectures across complex, multi-platform enterprise environments, balancing legacy constraints with future-state solutions aligned to Bell standards.
  • Support Strategic Mandates:
  • Deliver benefits within the set year (e.g., 2026 for current initiatives).
  • Keep initiative costs within defined variance of the estimate.
  • Support solution architecture activities from concept through delivery and value realization.
  • Develop Technology Roadmaps: Support client objectives and future-state architectures.
  • Financial Analysis: Evaluate solutions for total cost of ownership (TCO), return on investment (ROI), and cost forecasting.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are consistent, compliant, and optimized for performance and cost.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Communicate technical solutions and recommendations clearly, with a focus on business outcomes and operational feasibility.
  • Manage Risks & Governance: Help identify architectural risks and trade-offs, and support adherence to enterprise standards and governance of solution artifacts through formal review and delivery
  • Key Technologies: ServiceNow, Salesforce, Amdocs (billing and subscription), Oracle (order management), Okta (authentication), plus cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with integration patterns, APIs, and microservices is highly desirable.


Critical Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in technology, telecommunications, software delivery, systems analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Broad technical knowledge across IT domains and modern cloud/SaaS platforms.
  • Exposure to solution modeling, cost considerations, or business case evaluation is an asset.
  • Experience working within Agile.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Adept with AI tools and technology.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • Technology certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Salesforce, ServiceNow).

  • Industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe, CISSP).

  • Experience in one or more of the following domains is an asset: Network, Security, Data Centre, Contact Centre, IoT.

  • Familiarity with IP networking and Internet technologies.


Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
