ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Software Quality Engineer (SQE) at Bright Machines, you will work closely with R&D teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software. You will play a critical role in defining testing strategies, implementing automated test frameworks, and validating software functionality in complex, high-performance industrial environments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for software across factory automation, analytics, and operations systems.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and software leads to define quality standards and testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain test frameworks and tooling to support efficient validation of software releases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects; work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ensure software releases meet quality standards, performance benchmarks, and security requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test coverage, automation, and QA processes.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations.
