Through systematic testing, you will help develop and maintain high standards, contributing directly to the functionality and performance of key technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve creating and executing detailed test plans, analyzing results, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues, ensuring software meets rigorous quality benchmarks.

In this role, you will identify and isolate defects across software systems and tool interfaces, drive thorough root cause investigations, collaborate directly with software development and engineering teams, and champion quality engineering best practices across the development lifecycle. Your work directly influences the stability, automated efficiency, and operational excellence of mission-critical software powering Intel Mask Operation.

Business group
This role is part of Intel's engineering organization, which drives innovation and excellence in software and hardware development to support Intel's broader goals of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions. Our team focuses on ensuring product quality through robust testing methodologies, fostering collaboration, and advancing Intel's leadership in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Systematic Execution
  • Design, implement, and execute systematic software test plans, test cases, and test suites across diverse operational environments, toolsets, and system configurations.
  • Formulate clear, repeatable test standards and validation procedures to verify software functionality against architectural specifications and engineering requirements.
  • Validate end-to-end user workflows, system performance characteristics, and software interoperability within production and development environments.

Test Automation & Infrastructure
  • Build, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to accelerate test execution and expand regression coverage.
  • Validate multi-system integrations, data flows, and web service/API calls across interconnected tools and distributed systems.
  • Integrate automated test suites into modern Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback and rapid validation cycles.

Debugging, Defect Triage & Root Cause Analysis
  • Isolate complex, intermittent, and multifaceted software defects using modern debugging tools and systematic diagnostic methodologies.
  • Conduct deep-dive root cause analyses (RCA) and partner with development teams to formulate, verify, and document effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test findings, defect metrics, and verification records to ensure complete end-to-end traceability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Quality Advocacy
