You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity's dynamic working arrangement.
The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.What You Will DoThe Software Product Designer is responsible for user-centric-driven product design to deliver best of class digital experiences to end users in a new suite of software applications. This includes working with the product and marketing teams to develop target user personae; consistent investment in brand and design systems; working with product management and development teams on rapid prototyping of user experience; validation of product through user testing; and using design thinking to develop deep user insights to drive future digital product innovation.
The Value You Deliver- Advocate for the user experience (UX), articulated through the development of user personae, maps and journeys, and prototypes
- Work with Marketing and Development team to develop consistent digital brand and accompanying design system artifacts
- Develop prototypes and conduct user research to validate designs and identify gaps in the user experience
- Use deep customer insights as a feedback loop for future product strategy and features design
What We're Looking For- Experience with IOS and Android mobile application development
- Experience building design systems in design tools such as Sketch or Adobe Suite
- Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision, Figma, or Axure
- Knowledge and experience in both data-based and interview-based product design and development methodologies
- Knowledge and experience in design thinking and validation techniques such as Sprint methodology
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, marketing, content designers) to drive consensus on user experience
- Experience running collaborative design thinking workshops to guide, improve and implement design and feedback process
- Understanding of digital and Canadian accessibility standards
Experience, Education- Completion of a College degree, preferably in a Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Design, Kinesiology or HCI related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years in Software Application Design
- Experience in brand development or marketing and communications is an asset

- Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $101,000 to $118,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
