Software Integration Engineer for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. The candidate will support and maintain enterprise applications and system integrations that enable critical business operations across the organization. They will troubleshoot technical issues, develop and support integration solutions, and help ensure system reliability, data integrity, and business continuity in a collaborative hybrid environment.
Required Qualifications of the Software Integration Engineer:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting and integrating enterprise ERP systems, including PeopleSoft and Oracle technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and enterprise integration concepts.
- Experience with Windows PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and system administration.
- Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and change management practices.
- Experience supporting batch processing, server environments, and application troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Software Integration Engineer:- Experience with PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Application Engine, Application Designer, and Component Interface.
- Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud tools, including HCM Extract, HDL, OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Design Studio.
- Experience with PS Query, SQR, Crystal Reports, SQL scripting, JavaScript, VBScript, or Visual Builder.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, backup validation, and business continuity processes.
- Exposure to AI prompt engineering concepts and modern automation technologies.
Responsibilities of the Software Integration Engineer:- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications and system integrations to ensure reliable performance.
- Develop, support, and optimize integrations that facilitate accurate and secure data exchange between business systems.
- Investigate and resolve application, interface, and data issues while implementing long-term corrective solutions.
- Apply system updates, configuration changes, and patches following established change management procedures.
- Participate in backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities to support operational resilience.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge resources.
